• Putting on the gloves and comin’ out fighting!

So NICE that I had to post this again today. Keep your heads up, stay in the game, keep your eyes focused on what’s to come!

It’s been a challenging couple of months and I’m telling you… I wanted to give up, throw in the towel, throw my pity party – you can come, but you can’t stay (and neither can I). You know when you’re doing something good for yourself and others. That’s when “stuff” shows up to convince you that you ARE NOT who you say OR think you are.

Those are the times that you need reinforcements. The times when you need folks to wrap you up in prayer, positive vibes, a positive word or phrase… and most of all reassurance that everything’s gonna be alright! It’s even more special when it comes from unexpected sources…

“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” – Nelson Mandela

It’s ok to be wounded and down for a minute, lick your wounds, listen to the voice inside that will not be silenced… STAND, have FAITH and BELIEVE that it’s gonna be alright! It may not feel good to be pushed into a fight (for yourself) but sometimes, it’s just downright NECESSARY!

Golf ball on greenDon’t give up good people… whatever it is that you’re doing, building, planning, etc. Put on your gloves and come out fighting… who knows, you’re probably this close to your breakthrough.

From one soldier to another, make it a great day!

  1. I certainly understand where you’re coming from. Tough times have definitely tempted me to give up, but as you stated it can be so necessary.

    • Yep! Sometimes we just don’t even realize that there is any fight in us until you’re pushed a little (or maybe alot) outside of you comfort zone. When it happens, the choice to fight or flee is so clear! This time, fighting for it was the right thing to do!
