• Better Together

I support you, you support me, and together we can do great things! Definition of together: (to·geth·er)

    • In or into a single group, mass, or place: We gather together.
    • In association with or in relationship to one another; mutually or reciprocally: getting along together.
    • By joint or cooperative effort: We ironed the entire load of clothes together.
    • Regarded collectively; in total: She is worth more than all of us together. Considered together, the proposals made little sense.
    • In harmony or accord: We stand together on this issue.

What I like most about researching the definition of words is that I find a deeper and more relevant meaning of the word. Together signifies a real harmony and synergy between 2 or more people. News flash! You can’t have a together situation when you are acting alone. It’s a cooperative effort to bring about something. How powerful a concept to understand that individually you can be great but also knowing that together with another human or a group of humans, your potential for greatness expands? With this newfound understanding of the word together, why would we choose to do something… anything totally on our own??

togetherMy promise: To work in collaboration and in conjunction with at least one other person in all aspects of my life. Especially when I think that I’m better off doing it alone. It doesn’t mean that I will have situations run by committee in all things throughout the entire process, but what it does mean is that I will solicit the opinions of and assistance of others when I’m stuck, can’t find my way, or need a push to keep thoughts, goals, and life moving forward.

What came about for you when ready my blog? Please share!

Will you think more openly about doing something with someone else today?
